This Filter Sintered Bucket Stinger CRC Sleeve is designed to replace a traditional sintered filter discs in your closed loop extractor system. Available in 4" and 6". Filter sizes are 1 micron and 5 micron.
Handling CRC media and packing columns can be very time-consuming. This can easily lead to an increase in the total closed loop extractor uptime. The filter sintered bucket allows you to quickly, easily, and cleanly remove and replace the CRC media filter in between runs, maximizing equipment uptime.
To install the filter sintered bucket into the CRC column, slide the basket section into the column top, then use the high-pressure clamps and gaskets to secure the lower clamp of the sintered basket to the column top. Finally, clamp the CRC column cap onto the upper clamp of the filter sintered bucket. Connect the inlet hose, drain hose, and recovery hoses as usual.
To replace the filter, simply disconnect the hose from the top of the CRC column, remove the clamps securing the filter sintered bucket to the CRC column, and then pull out the entire filter basket. After that, the new filter can be inserted into the CRC column and re-clamped, ready for the next run.
