The cannabis extraction business is booming in more and more nations. More than 50% of today’s legal marijuana sales are concentrates and infused products, and extracts constitute the fastest growing segment of the marketplace.
At present, there are more than 70 kinds of cannabinoids isolated from cannabis plants, among which CBD (cannabisphenol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) have the highest content and are each other isomers. The significant difference between CBD and THC is that THC has hallucinogenic addiction, while CBD does not cause illusory addiction. It has shown promise in a variety of medical applications, from pain relief to relieving anxiety, and many other ailments in between.

Generally, you can get CBD from the following cannabis plants:

1.Hemp, THC content <0.3%, does not show psychoactive;

A prerequisite for extracting CBD from cannabis plants is to reduce the THC content as much as possible. Therefore, the THC content must be controlled from the source, that is, the cannabis plant with the THC content as little as possible and the CBD content as much as possible, that is, industrial cannabis. So how do you extract the CBD from industrial cannabis? The current common methods are solvent extraction, supercritical CO2 extraction, olive oil extraction, and the like.

CBD extraction technology aims to improve the extraction rate and purity of CBD, remove THC residues as much as possible, and avoid the use of toxic organic solvents to ensure product safety and environmental protection, and to minimize costs.
