Temporary Pipe Capping and Flow Path Sealing
Used to seal off unused ports—such as those on liquid-cooling manifolds, branch outlets, spare interfaces, or test ports—to block the flow of coolant. This is highly practical for cabinet expansion or when pre-configuring branch outlets; these ports can be capped with blind flanges initially, then easily opened by removing the blind flange and attaching the necessary piping when a new cold-plate branch is added.
Leak-Proof Sealing and Pressure Maintenance
A sealing ring positioned between the clamp-style blind flange and the face of the pipe fitting ensures a tight seal. This allows the assembly to withstand the operating pressure of the liquid-cooling system and prevents coolant leakage.
Use During Maintenance and Pressure Testing
These components are used to cap pipe openings during system pressure testing, flushing, or leak detection, allowing for pressure-retention tests. They are also useful during maintenance or when isolating specific branches for repair, as they allow for the temporary sealing of pipes without requiring the entire large-scale system to be drained of coolant.
