Stainless Steel 1-PC Mini Ball Valve Female Male-REDUCE BORE-With a pressure rating of 1000 PSI (water, oil or gas) and made out of SS304 or SS 316. The valves are available in Female to Female, Male to Female, and Male to Male connection types, and in sizes from 1/8″ to 1″.
The core advantage of mini ball valves in liquid cooling systems:
Localized Branch Shut-off and Isolation for Maintenance
Used within cabinets, CDUs, or coolant distribution manifolds (CDMs), these valves allow for the individual shut-off of specific cooling loops (carrying deionized water or ethylene glycol mixtures). This enables localized, in-line maintenance—such as the repair or replacement of cold plates and connectors—without requiring a full system shutdown, thereby minimizing the risk of total equipment downtime.
Corrosion-Resistant Design for Liquid Cooling Media
Constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel, the valve bodies are compatible with deionized water, antifreeze, and low-dielectric cooling fluids. They are highly resistant to rust and the release of impurities, which helps prevent the clogging of GPU cold plates and micro-channels, ultimately protecting critical chip-cooling components.
Safety Protection
In the event of a leak or malfunction in a specific branch, the ball valve can be quickly closed to isolate the affected line. This prevents the continued leakage or spread of coolant onto the server motherboard and other circuit boards.
